District Court
Integrated Intrusion, Access Control, Intercom and CCTV systems
In 2000, G4S Systems (formerly PSA) was awarded, by the District Court of Guam, to design their integrated security system, provide equipment, expertise, installation and maintain the system in good working condition.
The design was a sophisticated security system to meet the high level of security needs required by the court system. The District Court System integration includes a 24 hour Intrusion Detection, a high-end Door Access and Intercom System, and a Closed Circuit Television System.
The Intrusion Detection System controls 246 detection points and 250 users. Roll-up doors are protected with armored door contacts and the system has a power back-up which can last a minimum of 80 hours.
The Access System interfaces with proximity card readers. The proximity readers are the same type as those used in the Guam International Airport Terminal and approved by FAA.
The Intercom System uses Aiphone equipment. Aiphone is the largest manufacturer of the most widely used intercom systems worldwide. The intercom system works in conjunction with the Closed Circuit Television and the Access System.
The Closed Circuit Television System is designed around a computerized matrix system supporting camera units that are capable of panning, tilting and zooming in, with built-in iris and automatic zoom focusing.
